The Central in downtown St. Andrew's

Fish 'n Chips take a break from crime fighting for a pint at the local poob...

Double Trouble

The wind was angry that day, my friends...

Perfect Form

Watch and learn, neophytes...

I duck hooked this one into the scrub on the left...

I sliced this one into the parking lot...

I wormburned this one into a pot bunker in the middle of the fairway...

Wassup, ladies?

Your money is no good here

From what we've heard Scottish money is no good in England, so we will leave our share behind

The Lone Salmi

This is my artistic representation of Salmi taking Robert Frost's road MORE traveled.

Salmi in the Scrub

Pot bunker #1

One of my fav pics

He chose to shoot backward...

Home of Golf!

Wow,  what a great day in St. Andrews.  Andrew and I played a round in some severe winds and misty rain, in other words, a beautiful Scottish day!  We didn't get a time on the old course, but played a course nearby.

Beautiful

While Salmi and Andy golf, I am having high tea at the Rusacks hotel overlooking the 18th fairway of the St Andrews Old Course -- and by tea, I mean cappuccino and French fries.

Golfing In (not at) St. Andrew's

We're playing the Torrance course at the Fairmont Hotel.  Right on the water and the views are amazing!

We got rejected from The Old Course...:-(

Nessie!

Dave made the discovery of a lifetime. Unfortunately, he was standing on her egg-filled nest, and never lived to tell his tale.

Glenfiddich

Locals said Glenfiddich was better than Glenlivet

Our minds are open to the possibilities.

I will remember this...

#ZeList

Whiteknuckles Brandt

Harrowing escape from the maze-like Edinburgh.

Apparently, going to Marlboro Racing School gives Ash license to ride 2 feet behind the car ahead...

Mini Haggis "Parcels"

Dave's bravely diving in...

First Distillery in Scotland

What evil lies in the heart of a whisky-fueled Salmi...

We got the impression Tomatin was the Miller Lite of Scottish single malts...

I keep using an Irish accent.  I can't do Scottish.

Quick, someone call Olin Mills

Just the right light on the River Ness.

Countryside

Does anyone know if this is the crumpet harvest season?

Snog

Harrod's London

We didn't do Harrod's famed High Tea, but may have seen Benny Hill eating a scone.

Their "food court" was just a touch better than Panda Express and Sbarro.

Ash was in meat mode all trip.  He should be able to expense all our bills to Jack Links...(Hello?)

Dodi & Diana's shrine was about as tasteful as wearing Zubaz at a baptism, and felt disgustingly like a draw for tourists to the retailer.

Winston & Me

Fast Train to Scotland

We were wondering how fast this train was moving, so I used the map my ride app to check it out.   We've averaged well over 100mph!    Free wifi on the train.

And...we're off...

...to the land of William Wallace, skirts and music that sounds like a dying cat

And, what's that? These must be made up names -- Biggleswade, really?

King's Cross Station was funky

We got breakfast in a pot (cup) at Leon.  We forgot the train served free breakfast...but, we were also at the station an hour early due to Salmi's totalitarian-like scheduling regime.
